Unfortunately, Attune Behavior does not accept health insurance and is currently only accepting Regional Center (i.e., NBRC and RCEB) and private pay referrals.

Attune Behavior specializes in assessing children below ages 5-6. However, we occasionally assess older children and adults, especially families who require Dr. Ong's language skills (i.e., Mandarin and Cantonese).

Attune Behavior offers diagnostic testing, specializing in autism assessment, and behavior

consultation at level 4H and 4I group homes (i.e., behavioral group homes). We DO NOT provide ABA treatment, in-school services, or counseling/psychotherapy.

Under most circumstances, Attune Behavior will provide the diagnoses after testing on the day of the evaluation. However, there might be a need to gather additional information in some cases.

Understanding the child’s needs can help the child with autism receive appropriate support and

thrive. In addition, by enhancing the understanding of caregivers, they can better assist the child access resources and advocate for essential needs.

Attune Behavior gathers information through a review of records, behavioral observations,

developmental history, caregiver report, and direct testing. Some of the tests that we use include:

• Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2)
•  The Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales, Fifth Edition (SB5) 
• Differential Ability Scales, 2nd Edition (DAS-II)
• Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence - 4th Edition (WPPSI-IV)
• Mullen Scales of Early Learning (MSEL)
• Vineland-3 Adaptive Behavior Scales (Vineland-3)
• Adaptive Behavior Assessment System, 3rd Ed. (ABAS-3)

Attune Behavior will select the appropriate tests for your child so that unnecessary tests will be not be administered.

Depending on the behavioral symptoms, Attune Behavior can assess children as young as 18 months old. Please contact our office for more information.
